Virtual reality and augmented reality are two technologies changing the way we use screens creating new and exciting interactive experiences.
VIRTUAL REALITY
Virtual reality is 3D images and audio created by a computer
or electronic device that is worn by the user that stimulates an environment.
It is also known as VR, uses a headset with a built-in screen that displays a
virtual environment for you to explore. These headsets use a technology called
head tracking, which allows you to look around the environment by simply moving
your head.
Virtual reality uses headsets to create a simulator
environment and helps an individual to immerse into it to experience an
entirely different reality. Yet, the historical journey of virtual reality began
back in the eighteen hundreds. This marvelous idea has been evolving from the

was coined later by Jaron Lanier in 1987 during his intense research on this

look and observe things in real life. You can experience anything from standing

applications, or devices. Augmented reality or AR is different, instead of
transporting you to a virtual world, it takes digital images and layers them on
the real world around you. This is through the use of either a clear visor or a
smartphone. So with VR, you could explore a world full of dinosaurs, but with
AR, you could see those dinosaurs moving through the world around you.
Our augmented reality is a technology that projects
computer-generated augmentations on top of reality, helping us perform tasks
better. AR, which falls between reality and virtual reality, is a method used
to render real-world data and present it so that virtual elements resemble the
present reality to an extent. The revolution doesn't stop here, have you ever
tried to catch Pokemon using Pokémon Go or fit any furniture using the Ikea
app; the technology that makes this possible called augmented reality.
Augmented reality has seen raging in popularity over the
past few years and the revolution is not stopping soon AR is giving brands the
power to provide their customers with unique experiences that can prove to be

highly technical surgeries before operating. Businesses are using them to give
consumers virtual tours of products and locations. There are even apps that can
use your smartphone's camera to scan and translate a foreign language in
real-time. As they continue to grow, VR and AR have the potential to change
